Maha CM Uddhav Thackeray unsparing on BJP; addresses Aurangabad name change & Hindutva

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray was unsparing on BJP while addressing a mega rally in Aurangabad on Wednesday and addressed city's name change.

dressing a mega rally in Aurangab on Wednesday, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray listed problems faced by region. Highlighting primary issue of water, leer stated that he was still 'facing people of region and not hiding', in an indirect attack against Opposition. Reacting to Bharatiya Janata Party's pressure to change name of Aurangab, Shiv Sena supremo said that he has 'not forgotten' promise of his late far Balasaheb Thackeray. He asserted that name would be changed to Sambhajinagar when 'time is right'.

politician acknowledged that numerous issues were being raised in Maharasthra like Hanuman Chalisa controversy. Without taking names, he said, "Don't try to prove your Hindutva by reciting Hanuman Chalisa here...If you have courage, n go to Kashmir, and recite Hanuman Chalisa."

'For me, Hindutva is my nationality'

Thackeray highlighted Hindutva was nationality for him and or members of Shiv Sena. He said, "But we don't have hatred for or religions. This is saffron of Warakaris ... This is saffron of Chhatrapati ... This is saffron of Hindus ..."

CM also called for an open debate in Mumbai on what Shiv Sena has done for Hindutva and what BJP has done. Raking up contentious comments me by Nupur Sharma, now-suspended spokesperson of BJP,   Shiv Sena supremo said, "Because of her, whole country h to bear humiliation... In Gulf, a photo of Prime Minister was posted on a garbage can."

'MVA govt completed 2.5 years in power'

Thackeray also took a moment to highlight that Maha Vikas Aghi (MVA) coalition has completed two and a half years of government 'against dreams of some people'. He was referring to BJP, with which he h a pre-poll alliance but switched sides after falling to reach an agreement on tie-up. "Because y are not able to bring MVA down from power position, y are letting loose  Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) behind us. I would say, inste, send security to Kashmir where innocents are being killed every day."
