Maha MP Navneet Rana alleges she received '11 death threat calls', lodges complaint

Lok Sabha MP Navneet Rana claimed that she received 11 calls on Tuesday from an unknown person who threatened to "kill" her when she returns to Maharashtra.

Independent Lok Sabha MP Navneet Rana, who was recently granted bail in Matoshree-Hanuman Chalisa case, on Wednesday filed a complaint with Delhi Police alleging that she received multiple life-threatening calls.

According to complaint filed by her personal assistant, independent MP received 11 calls on Tuesday between 5.27 pm to 5.47 pm on her personal mobile number. person on or end, according to Rana, spoke to her in a very inappropriate way, abused her, and also threatened to kill her when she returns to Maharashtra.

Earlier in April, Navneet Rana and her MLA husband Ravi Rana h announced that y would recite Hanuman Chalisa outside Matoshree, private residence of Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray in Mumbai.

On May 23, Amravati MP appeared before Parliamentary Privilege Committee over her allegation of "patently illegal arrest and consequent inhuman treatment meted out to her at Khar Police Station, Mumbai." Stating that she h presented everything in front of committee, Rana said that those responsible for alleged atrocities should be punished.
