Present political scenario in Maharashtra:

The BJP-SS coalition has agreed upon an understanding between each other's parties for the Chief Ministerial post - agreed to by Devendra Fadnavis and Uddhav Thackeray. However, no official statement has been released yet from both parties. As a result, the Shiv Sena is keen and rooting for Yuva Sena Chief Aaditya Thackeray for the position of the Chief Minister. However, earlier in In June, leaders from BJP had given statements saying that the next Chief Minister should be from their party. Girish Mahajan, the BJP legislator from Jamner asserted that it was clear that the Chief Minister would be from his party. BJP leaders Sudhir Mungantivar and Saroj Pandey had said that BJP should get CM post in Maharashtra.
