Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday, vember 23, congratulated Bharatiya Janata Party leer Devendra Fnavis and NCP leer Ajit Pawar after swearing-in as Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra respectively. Taking to micro-blogging site, Singh said he believes that newly formed BJP-NCP government will work toger for progress and prosperity of State.

Bharatiya Janata Party working President Jagat Prakash Nda also congratulated Devendra Fnavis and Ajit Pawar for swearing-in. Taking to Twitter Nda said under guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, newly formed BJP-NCP government will take Maharashtra to newer heights.
Fnavis takes oath as CM
Pulling biggest surprise in Maharashtra politics, Devendra Fnavis took oath as Chief Minister of Maharashtra in presence of Goverr Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhawan around 8 AM. NCP leer Ajit Pawar was sworn in as his Deputy CM. With Fnavis taking oath as next CM BJP with 105 seats and NCP with 54 seats will combine to form next government in Maharashtra. Final government strength is still awaited.

Fnavis revealed that y h produced a claim to Goverr and requested him to take back President's rule. Sources reveal that Goverr n requested President to remove President's rule in State, which was done at 5:47 AM. Fnavis also revealed that BJP, along with NCP and a few more allies have formed next government in state.
