'Maharashtra govt will fall due to infighting': Union Min Danve declares MVA a failure

A day after Maharashtra's Maha Vikas Aghi (MVA) government completed its one year, Union Minister Raosaheb Danve pointed out party's failures and claimed that it will eventually fall as allies - Shiv Sena, Congress, and NCP - "will end up fighting".
MVA government completed its one year on vember 28, 2020. It came to power after fall of an 80-hour government of BJP following 2019 assembly polls.

"Maha Vikas Aghi government has failed on all fronts in one year. y have t fulfilled even a single poll promise. public is fed up with m as y lack coordination among mselves. y will end up fighting and this government will fall," Raosaheb Danve said while dressing a press conference in Aurangab.

"All three parties which are part of alliance have me promises in ir manifestos, but ne of m fulfilled. re is coordination among m. y do t take decisions toger on any subject," he ded.
BJP leer claimed that farmers in Marathwa were distressed as state government failed to fulfill its promise of loan waiver. He expressed confidence that BJP will regain power in Maharashtra in next two to three months.

Government formation in Maharashtra
Despite winning a comfortable majority on its own in 2019 Maharashtra Assembly election, NDA could t form government due to Shiv Sena's demand for a rotational CM post. After imposition of President's Rule in state, BJP took a surprising step of joining hands with NCP's Ajit Pawar, who h reportedly promised support of or legislators.

On wee hours of vember 23, 2019, BJP leer Devendra Fnavis and Ajit Pawar were sworn-in as chief minister and deputy chief minister respectively at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai.
However, new Fnavis-led government h to resign within 80 hours, ahe of SC-mandated floor test owing to paucity of numbers. Subsequently, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray took oath as CM of Maharashtra backed by new allies NCP and Congress on vember 28, 2019.
