'Mamata govt looted financial assistance for Cyclone Amphan', alleges BJP's Dilip Ghosh

Lashing out at West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, BJP West Bengal chief Dilip Ghosh on Tuesday alleged that her government "looted" sanctioned financial assistance of Rs 1,000 crore provided by union government last year for immediate relief after Cyclone Amphan hit state.
"Rs 1,000 crore financial assistance that was provided by union government for people affected by Cyclone Amphan last year has t reached needy yet. Her party members 'looted' people's money," Ghosh said.

He also stated that when Centre called for an audit by Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) to probe matter, Mamata Banerjee approached High Court to prevent investigation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi h visited West Bengal to assess dam caused due to Cyclone Amphan after which he anunced Rs 1,000 crore relief pack for West Bengal and Rs 2 lakh each for kin of deceased and Rs 50,000 for injured in Cyclone.
Ghosh contended that people of West Bengal longer trust ruling government, so y will definitely bring change in state.

He also responded to Mamata Banerjee's statement that BJP's Gujarat Governance will t be allowed here in Bengal state. Taking a jibe on Mamata Banerjee, he said, "re will be development of state like Gujarat. re will be employment in state so that people here do t have to migrate to Gujarat. Mamata Banerjee's statements only show her frustration."
