Mehbooba Mufti bats for talks with Pakistan again seeking political redressal in Kashmir issue, targets Home Minister Amit Shah
Former Jammu and Kashmir CM and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti has once again batted for talks between India and Pakistan. Mufti took to Twitter on Monday and raked up Kashmir issue, saying that it is a political problem that needs political redressal. In the redressal, the PDP chief has called for the involvement of all 'stakeholders' including Pakistan.

This has come in light of first security review meeting held by Union Home Minister Amit Shah taking stock of country's internal security situation. During meeting, Amit Shah was given a detailed briefing on prevailing security situation in country by SA Ajit Doval, Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba, Intelligence Bureau chief Rajiv Jain, besides ors.

Apart from hinterland, home minister was also apprised on situation in Jammu and Kashmir, particularly in border areas. While secretary of Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW), who also attends this meeting, gives an overview on India's neighbourhood, director of Intelligence Bureau briefs on internal intelligence inputs, official said.
Differences between India and Pakistan went sour in aftermath of henious Pulwama terror attack which was perpetrated by Jaish-e-Mohammad suicide bomber. In a massive response, India carried out Balakot airstrike in Pakistan, which destroyed biggest terror camp of JeM in neighbouring country. While India provided proofs of airstrike, Pakistan remained in refusal.
