MNS threatens makers of Taarak Mehta for calling Hindi 'language of Mumbai'

Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navanirman Sena (MNS) on Tuesday issued a warning to makers of Indian daily soap Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah over ir episode claiming Hindi as common langu of Mumbai.
chairman of Maharashtra Navnirman Film Staff Ameya Khopkar said that makers of show are very well aware that 'Marathi' is commonly spoke langu of Mumbai and yet y decided to spre such systematic propaganda from series. Calling makers of show as 'Gujarati insects' he furr said that at least Maharashtrian artists working in show should have felt ashamed about it. He also threatened to teach m a lesson.

In video, one of characters said, "That our Gokuldham is in Mumbai and common langu of Mumbai is Hindi and hence we write 'Suvichar' (Thought for day) in Hindi. Soiimiarky if pour society was in Chennai we must have written it in Tamil..."

Taking to Twitter, General Secretary of MNS, Shalini Thackeray reiterated same. In her tweet, she said, "If se SAB TV does t agree that Mumbai's 'common langu' is t Hindi but Marathi. n Maharashtra soldiers will have to write 'Suvichar' under ir ears! That too in Marathi! n y Can you re 'Marathi thoughts under your ear' properly!!"
