Speaking on protesting farm unions' continued demands of complete withdrawal of laws and legalisation of MSP, Choudhari said, " three farm laws are in favour of farmers. re should be confusion on MSP. prime minister himself said many times that provision of selling crops at MSP will continue. It was long-standing demand from farmers to do away with system of middlemen so y can sell ir produce at a price of ir choice."

Elaborating on how farm laws are better with respect to mechanism of contract farming vis-a-vis laws of Punjab's, he said, "In new law, re is provision of penalty and fine to farmers regarding contract farming. Whereas, Punjab has its own contract farming law, which includes provision of punishment."
