Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday held a video conference with chief ministers to discuss situation arising due to COVID-19 in country chief ministers also said that government should evolve a policy for sending home migrant workers stranded in different states.

"But, prime minister did t give any solution to resolve migrants problem issue," he said at a press conference through video conference. Puducherry CM said he and Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar raised issue of migrants.

Narayanasamy said CMs demanded that government should anunce a stimulus pack on lines of UPA's 2008 pack for revival of ecomy.

He also said prime minister lauded Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot for taking steps to contain virus in his state. He also mentioned about work done by chief ministers of Odisha and Bihar.
