National Approval Ratings: Mamata's TMC projected to lose big time as BJP to gain heavily in West Bengal

From being nothing in 2014 to competing toe to toe with 2019 with TMC, BJP is expected to emerge as the closest competitor to Mamata Banerjee's party

Ahe of Assembly polls, which will be held in 2019, Republic TV, in association with CVoter, has come with National Approval Ratings to bring forward mood of nation in present time. Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) is presently in power in centre, as well as 21 states, eir alone or through a coalition of NDA. 

From being thing in 2014 to competing toe to toe in 2019 with TMC, BJP is expected to emerge as best next option to Mamata Banerjee's party.

In previous general elections, TMC h won 34 out of 42 seats, proving ir dominance in state. Congress was second best with four seats, with BJP winning two, same as CPM 

But if  National Approval Ratings is anything to go by, n TMC has a lot to ponder. According to latest predictions, ir seat-share will fall down to a mere 25, with NDA becoming biggest beneficiary of it, ending with 16 seats. Congress-led UPA will see ir seat share fall down to a solitary one.

In terms of vote share, BJP h 16.9% in 2014, but it has shot up to 31.2%. TMC, in power in West Bengal, sees just a 0.2% decrease in its vote share, but impact of it on seats is huge. CPM are biggest losers in terms of vote share, falling from 29.6% to 14.9%.
