National Approval Ratings: NDA predicted to win all five seats in Uttarakhand
With the Lok Sabha elections less than five months away, Republic TV has released the National Approval Ratings which captures the mood of the nation if the elections were to take place in December.

With Lok Sabha elections less than five months away, Republic TV has released National Approval Ratings which captures mood of nation if elections were to take place in December. In 2014, NDA had bagged all five seats in states. It had got 56.3% of votes, whereas UPA had got 34.1% of votes. Ors had received 10.6% of vote share.
December ratings hold NDA in same position with all five seats in its pocket. predictions for vote-share remains sunny for NDA as it predicts it to win 49.7%, UPA to win 33.1 % and ors to win 17.3%. predictions are teworthy as BJP has double anti-incumbency in state.

NDA is projected to lose a significant amount of its vote share since 2014 polls, while UPA is projected to lose a whole percent since its previous Lok Sabha polls.

2018 has been a blockbuster year so far as far as political landscape of India is concerned. While BJP lost in three key states of Hindi heartland - Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, during assembly polls, National Approval Ratings shows a steady gain for NDA in vote-share and a consistent five seat win in state.
Out of 4 states, which went to polls this year, BJP has its government on its own in Tripura and with alliance partners in two states, namely, Meghalaya (with National People’s Party), Nagaland (with Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party), whereas Congress mand to form government in Karnataka with JDS as its alliance partner.
