'Neither present in Parliament, nor country': Anurag Thakur schools Rahul Gandhi in LS

Amid intense face-off between Centre and opposition in Lok Sabha session on Thursday, Union Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur schooled Lok Sabha MP from Wayan Rahul Gandhi after latter's scorching remarks as he misinterpreted new farm laws.
With intense r and aggression, Rahul Gandhi brought issue of farm laws when Lok Sabha session was reserved to discuss Union Budget 2021-22. Wayan MP resorted to fearmongering by alleging that agrarian laws will encour hoarding of farm produce. He also alleged with much conviction that laws are pro-corporate and only benefit 'hum do hamare do', a targeted attack on PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah and two leing industrialists of country.

More importantly, discussion on farm laws took place on Wednesday when PM Modi gave point by point replies over fears expressed by farmers and also on misinformation campaign run by alleged vested interests surrounding farm laws. However, Rahul Gandhi along with or Congress MPs std a walk-out on Wednesday when y h a chance to discuss on farm laws.

Rahul Gandhi 't prepared for Budget discussion': Anurag Thakur
"A senior MP was speaking before me, so I thought he must be kwing rules of this House and that if one issue has alrey been discussed, it is t discussed again. Secondly, I can understand that he h t come prepared to speak on Budget," Anurag Thakur said while taking a dig at Rahul Gandhi.

"He was neir present for entire duration of Budget r does he have habit of being present in House. Some people are less present in parliament as well as in country, (Kuch log San mein bhi kam rehte hain aur desh mein bhi kam rehte hain, uska khamiyaza yehi hota hai)", Anurag Thakur said pointing towards Rahul Gandhi while ding that "he (Rahul) is leaving again" as Rahul Gandhi decided to walk out after Thakur's pointed attack.
"This is thing new, I have spoken earlier as well, and he h walked out earlier as well, so this is thing new," Thakur quipped.

Thakur n took to Twitter to flay Rahul Gandhi over Lok Sabha faceoff. He tweeted, "Rahul ji would be able to comment on budget only when he listened to or re budget. First, he says, run House, if House runs, he is t prepared for it, n he doesn't speak on subject and inste runs his nda, and n he walks out after getting exposed. How will it work Rahul Ji?"
Speaking on Union Budget 2021-22, Thakur said that " Budget shows a hope - a hope to build new India, a hope for stronger India, a hope to build Aatmanirbhar Bharat and I would like to thank Finance Minister because this is going to set path to make India an ecomic & manufacturing powerhouse."
