As the political scenario in Maharashtra still remains in shambles, Sanjay Raut, maintaining the blame game against the BJP claimed that the 50:50 formula was decided in Shiv Sena patron, Bal Thackeray's room, between Home Minister Amit Shah and Uddhav Thackeray. Shiv Sena's Rajya Sabha MP asserted 'Shiv Sena respects PM Modi more than the BJP' and that the BJP national president, Amit Shah 'never disclosed' the deal to PM Modi.
He said, "It was Balasaheb's (Thackeray) room, where Uddhav and Amit Shah decided. It is a temple for us and talks were held in that temple. If they say they never discussed such things, it is an insult to Balasaheb. We swear on him and if they had said anything else, they should better disclose it. We can never forget whatever was discussed in that temple." "We respect Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However what happened in the meeting between Amit Shah and Uddhav Thackeray, it's information was not given to him," the Sanjay Raut added. He further asked the BJP to not 'threaten' the Shiv Sena.

Amit Shah mentioned how their pre-poll alliance partners Shiv Sena came up with new demands, which were not acceptable to the BJP on Wednesday, however, in retaliation to the Home Minister, Raut said, "In all the rallies, PM also said that the CM will be Fadnavis but Uddhav also said that CM will be from Sena. During alliance, Uddhav had made it clear that there will be 50-50 sharing of power. Now after the elections, there is no morality left on their commitments."

The Shiv Sena spokesperson on Thursday posted a message on Twitter to assert that they would neither get defeated nor be afraid. "Ab haarna aur darna manaa hai..," Sanjay Raut said.
Congress, NCP & Sena probably alliance
Sanjay Raut on Wednesday also posted a message on Twitter to indicate a tough path ahead for his party in its efforts to form government in Maharashtra with the Congress and NCP, which were its ideological rivals till recently. He has of late also been hitting out at the BJP through his Twitter posts. After the Assembly poll results in Maharashtra were declared on October 24, Sanjay Raut led Shiv Sena's charge to seek an equal share in power with the BJP, leading to falling apart of the nearly three-decade-old saffron alliance.

The Shiv Sena, which espouses the Hindutva ideology, is trying to find common ground with the Congress and NCP in its attempt to cobble-up a government in Maharashtra, which is under President's rule since Tuesday. Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday met Maharashtra Congress leaders Ashok Chavan, Balasaheb Thorat, and Manikrao Thakare and later said talks were going on in the right direction.
