Responding to Satya Pal Malik's transfer from Goverr of Goa to Goverr of Meghalaya, NC chief Omar Abdullah has taken a dig and asked 'where is Meghalaya?' ding hashtag #AskingForAFriend. He has also opined on decision taken by Mhya Presh government to reserve jobs for ir state citizens, pointing out difference with respect to Jammu and Kashmir.

Satya Pal Malik transferred to Meghalaya
In a major development on August 18, President with vice of Government of India has transferred and appointed Satya Pal Malik as Goverr of Meghalaya while Maharashtra Goverr Bhagat Singh Koshiyari has been given ditional charge of state of Goa. Earlier, on October 25, 2019, Government of India transferred Satya Pal Malik from Jammu and Kashmir to Goa. This came within two months of abrogation of Article 370 and bifurcation of erstwhile state of J&K into Jammu-Kashmir and Lakh. Satya Pal Malik was appointed as Goverr of erstwhile state of J&K on August 23, 2018, and was first politician to be sent to J&K as a Goverr in three deces. Girish Chandra Murmu who became first L-G of UT of J&K was recently appointed CAG while Maj Sinha is w new J&K L-G.

Omar reacts on appointment of Maj Sinha as J&K L-G
Omar h previously me an important observation on appointment of former Union minister and BJP leer Maj Sinha as Lt. Goverr of UT of Jammu-Kashmir. He said that previous L-G and last Goverr of erstwhile state - both were removed 'rar unceremoniously.' Taking to Twitter on a day after massive development in J-K, former CM of Jammu and Kashmir said that previous L-G GC Murmu's resignation and shifting of Satya Pal Malik - who was last Goverr of erstwhile state came at a point when it was 'least expected.' He ded that both of m h a full schedule of meeting packed when Centre ordered m to leave.
