Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vra on Wednesday lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi alleging he took decisions without considering plight of migrant labourers and  poor, amid nationwide lockdown which is w extended till May 3. 

Vra castigated government for t arranging special trains for migrants and questioned why railway ticket booking continued during nationwide lockdown. She also expressed displeasure on use of force against those who gared in Mumbai's Bandra on Tuesday.

Taking to Twitter, Vra furr attacked government and said that migrants are out of money and ration stock, that y are feeling insecure and want to go home. labourers should be provided with all facilities as y are backbone of country, she ded.

Congress leer Anand Sharma also appealed to  Prime Minister, Chief Ministers and ministration to give migrants and labourers back ir dignity and rights. He said give m roti and t Lathi. Sharma furr said it is heart-rending to see plight of migrant labourers and workers.

About Bandra Incident

Around 1,500 people, mostly migrant workers, gared at Bandra railway station premises on Tuesday and wanted to go to ir native places but were later dispersed, said Mumbai Police. Mumbai Police resorted to lathi-charge when sections of restive hordes threatened to go out of control amid Covid crisis.
