Puducherry CM refers to L-G Kiran Bedi as a 'Demon'; Bedi hits back

conflict between Congress government in Puducherry and Lieutenant Goverr (L-G) Kiran Bedi is t something new. Ever since Kiran Bedi took charge as LG of Puducherry in May 2016 and V Narayanasamy assumed office in June 2016, tussle has been ongoing. Both of m have been in loggerhes in many of issues including ministrative, governance and policy decisions of Puducherry.
Starting from appointment of MLAs by HMO to implementation of compulsory helmet scheme, both were poles apart in each and every aspect. While this was case, Puducherry CM Narayanasamy with entire cabinet sat for dharna in front of Puducherry Rajnivas, to show ir opposition against L-G Kiran Bedi who didn't approve files sent by state government.

Narayanasamy claimed that Bedi is t letting democratically elected people's government to function independently while Kiran Bedi claimed that she is been acting only under purview of her powers.

Amid this situation, Chief Minister Narayanasamy while dressing a meeting at Puducherry on Thursday referred Kiran Bedi as a demon. He said: "Ministers and MLAs are working hard day and night, y've me a demon/ghost to sit here. She stops every scheme. free rice scheme is for poor. She intervened and stopped it. I'll meet officials to get fund for Puducherry, she will go meet m and stop fund."

Responding to spat of chief minister, Lieutenant Goverr (L-G) has in a statement said: " expression of DEMON used is unparliamentary, uncalled for, uncivilised, uncouth and unacceptable." She also said that duty of public officials are duty-bound to protect people and prevent wasts detected, for protection of silent majority.
