Days after meeting PM Modi regarding ongoing farmers' protests, Punjab BJP leers Harjeet Grewal and Surjit Kumar Jyani on Thursday, will meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah at 7 PM at MHA ministry. two leers are reportedly acting as intermediaries between farmers and Centre as protests continue for over 40 days. Moreover, Jiyani is a part of eight-member committee formed by Govt to negotiate for talks. Protests continue for  43rd day, with a tractor rally underway in Delhi highway.

Grewal: "Everything will be solved"

On Tuesday, after meeting PM Modi, Jyani and Grewal said that delock will soon be solved. Jyani alleged that farmers' organisations were being stubborn and must keep Left parties aside, ding that farm organisation must talk amongst mselves, for ir own benefit. Commenting on farmers' planned tractor rally, Grewal said, "y are protesting peacefully and everyone has right to protest peacefully".

Jyani said, "Farmers' organisation should stop being stubborn. body has power to take decision amongst m. For farmers benefit, this comre game should end, y (farmers) have to talk about it mselves, keeping comre (Left parties) aside".

8th round of Centre-Farmer talks

On Monday, farmers and Centre held ir eighth round of talks which ended in an impasse with farm leers stating that y wanted a complete repeal of three laws and were t interested in any of amendments that Centre h to offer. Revealing that Government h pitched for a clause-to-clause discussion, farmer leers stated that y rejected Centre's proposition since ir one-point demand was a repeal of laws. next round of talks has been fixed on January 8.

If Centre does t budge, farmers have decided to celebrate festival of Lohri on January 13 by burning copies of newly introduced agriculture laws and a massive tractor rally on January 26 towards Delhi.
