Punjab CM vows to fight 'black farm laws'; says 'BJP-led govt could not be trusted'

In sync with Rahul Gandhi's 'Kheti Bachao Yatra', Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Sunday vowed to fight 'black farm laws' and save farmers from clutches of big corporates. Congress leer Rahul Gandhi will start his 3-day "Kheti Bachao Yatra" in Punjab on October 4 to protest against Farm Laws.
Captain Amarinder lashed out at Akalis for "selling off interests of farmers" as part of Union government and furr warned farmers that Central government might pay MSP for a couple of crops, but eventually would scrap system completely.

" verbal assurances of BJP-led government could t be trusted. We will t back out of fight against black farm laws till y are amended to give a written Constitutional guarantee on MSP and continuation of FCI. Attempts were being me to stifle collective voice of farmers, who h come toger in this fight to protect ir livelihood and future," he said.
CM ded that battle against farm laws was being fought across country and Congress was with farmers in every step of way.

Rahul Gandhi starts 'Kheti Bachao Yatra' from Punjab
Rahul Gandhi along with Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and or senior leers of state will launch signature campaign and dress public at Bandhni Kalan, District Moga. Stating se farm laws as anti-farmer Congress party has planned a month-long agitation across country and will also reach out to different farming communities. Rahul Gandhi will le a "Tractor Yatra" from Bhni Kalan to Jatpura, Ludhiana and will end day by dressing a public meeting at Jatpura.

Some of programmes which are a part of Kheti Bachao Yatra were launched on September 24 will be concluded on vember 14. Congress has planned conclusion of protest by handing over memorandum and signatures of over two crore farmers of country to President Kovind. President on September 27 passed Farmers' (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance and Farm Services Bill, 2020, Farmers' Produce Tre and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill, 2020 and Essential Commodities (Amendment) Bill 2020.
