Rahul chides Modi govt for 'image correction’ amid 'economic slump, Chinese aggression'

Congress leer Rahul Gandhi took an aim at Modi government for 'spending' taxpayers' money on 'im correction’ while country is facing challenges like 'ecomic slump' and 'unemployment'. He also mentioned 'Chinese aggression' in reference to tense border faceoffs in Eastern Lakh since May.
Wayan MP was citing a news report that said Modi government is building a massive publicity campaign around its planned perception-overhaul exercise to improve India’s ranking on 29 global indices.

As country faces twin blow of Coronavirus pandemic and subsequent ecomic hardship, Gandhi has raised his pitch to attack NDA government over its handling of both issues. He has also tried to corner BJP over recent border tensions with China in Lakh and, recently over reports of Facebook's alleged closeness with BJP-RSS.
Earlier in day, Rahul Gandhi claimed that organised and urganised sectors of Indian ecomy were struggling even before COVID-19 pandemic hit country, ding that situation will t improve until money as part of a relief pack is directly given to farmers, labourers, and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

“Organised and urganised ecomies were in b condition even before COVID-19. situation cant improve until money is given directly to farmers, laborers and MSMEs," Gandhi tweeted, along with a clip of his dress.
In video, 50-year-old leer claimed that Congress-run Chhattisgarh government has been doing ground-breaking work to help poor, farmers, and small businesses through various schemes.

Predicts massive unemployment
On Thursday, former Congress president accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of destroying urganised sector of ecomy. Mentioning that this sector accounts for 90% of total employment in country, he predicted that India will be unable to provide jobs to youth. He claimed that many companies will collapse one by one after moratorium period ends.
Gandhi recalled that his warning of heavy loss to ecomy at vent of COVID-19 crisis went unheeded. Elaborating on his point, Wayan MP contended that key employers such as small and medium businesses can't give jobs as y mselves have been "destroyed".
