BJP slams Congress for alleged  liquor smuggling

Last week,  BJP took a dig at Congress after its youth wing functionaries were caught allegedly smuggling liquor, saying this has exposed opposition party's "character". Indian Youth Congress president Srinivas B V dubbed arrest a "conspiracy" which, he claimed, was aimed at defaming his organisation's relief work to help poor during ongoing lockdown.

BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said while lakhs of his party workers are busy bringing food to needy during nationwide lockdown, "national office-bearers of Congress are smuggling expensive liquor" in national capital. "This is character of Congress... What a strategy Rahul ji," Patra tweeted, taking a dig at former Congress president.
