Amid political turmoil in Rajasthan, sources on Wednesday reported that Rajasthan government has sent its report on phone tapping to Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). Home Ministry h on July 18 asked Rajasthan Chief Secretary to submit a report after BJP alleged illegalities on phone tapping in state.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Rajasthan High Court reserved its order on plea filed by Sachin Pilot and 18 or Congress MLAs challenging disqualification tice issued to m by Assembly Speaker. dressing a press conference on Wednesday, Speaker CP Joshi said that he will move Supreme Court challenging decision.

On or hand, State Police has formed a special team of officers to investigate and arrest accused in case registered with special operations group (SOG) in connection with audiotapes that revealed a conspiracy to topple Ashok Gehlot-led state government. As per reports, eight-member team is heed by SP CID (Crime branch) Vikas Sharma. Or members of team are Dharmendra Yav (ditional SP-ATS), Jagdish Vyas (ditional SP-CID CB), Kamal Singh (assistant police commissioner-Jodhpur), Manish Sharma (Deputy SP- ATS), Kailash Jindal (inspector- CID CB), Suman Kaviya (Inspector- ATS) and Ramesh Pareek (inspector-ATS). team was formed by ditional Director General (ATS and SOG) Ashok Rathore.

BJP demands CBI inquiry

Earlier on Saturday, dressing a press conference, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra demanded a CBI inquiry on phone taping after Congress released an audiotape alleging horse-tring attempts by former. Patra asked Ashok Gehlot government if orders were passed to tap phones of all leers in Rajasthan and are still going on?

Similarly, on Friday, Rajasthan BJP chief Dr. Satish Poonia asked whereabouts and aunticity of 'leaked tapes'. Reiterating Union Minister Gajendra Shekhawat's denial, he said that such allegations were done to defame BJP. Moreover, he said that BJP will consult and decide on filing a defamation suit against Congress.

Congress presents 'leaked tapes' in court

Rajasthan SOG produced audio clip which allegedly features businessman Sanjay Jain talking to MLAs about money transactions in a sessions court in Jaipur. court has w ordered Jain to a four-day remand of Special Operations Group (SOG) team of Rajasthan Police. Moreover, sources state that accused BJP leers -  Ashok Singh and Bharat Malani refused to give ir voice samples for furr investigation. SOG team has also visited hotels in Haryana to issue a tice to 19 rebel MLAs to collect evidence in form of voice samples.
