Condemning Opposition MPs ruckus over Farm Bills in Rajya Sabha, Vice President and House Chairman on Sunday is mulling to take disciplinary action against unruly MPs. A high-level meeting is currently underway at Naidu's residence with RS Dy Chairman Harivansh, Union Min Piyush Goyal & Parliamentary Affairs Min Pralh Joshi present in meeting. 12 Opposition parties have alrey submitted a -confidence motion against Deputy Chair Harivansh Narayan Singh for passing two Farm Bills via voice vote. bills - Farmers' and Produce Tre and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill, 2020 and Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Bill, 2020 introduced earlier in day, was passed amid chaos.

RS chairman mulling action against MPs
Lashing out at Opposition, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Bhupender Yav said, "y should apologise for ir misconduct in House. It is a shameful act." Similarly, senior Congress MP Ahmed Patel said that while way bill was brought in is unacceptable, attitude towards Chair was 't good'. He ded that way bill is passed is undemocratic and its a death of democracy- 'what happened inside parliament'.

Oppositions protest in Rajya Sabha
While opposing bills, Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Derek O'Brien targeted Centre and reminded Centre of its promise of doubling farmers' income by 2022. He n marched up to well of house and tore rule book and ripped mic off house Chair. Similarly, AAP MP Sanjay Singh and Rajeev Satav stormed well and stood on table in front of Chair and raised slogans against Bills. Rajya Sabha TV feed was temporarily cut off amid chaos.
Congress MPs were outrd when YSRCP MP VV Reddy backed bill and said that re was reason for Congress to oppose bills, ding that Congress is a party of 'Dalals' (middlemen). Congress MP Anand Sharma demanded an apology from Reddy over his statement on Congress, to which speaker Venkaiah Naidu said Reddy's statement will t go on record. Several MPs moved resolutions for sending two bills to a select committee of House for consideration before y are taken up for pass but were rejected.

Gogoi suspended in Budget session
Similar chaos was witnessed in et session over Delhi riots which led to suspension of seven Congress Lok Sabha MPs. seven MPs include Gaurav Gogoi, TN Prathapan, Dean Kuriakose, R Unnithan, Manickam Tagore, Benny Behnan, Gurjit Aujla after y stormed well of House with placards and shouted slogans against government over Delhi violence. y h sought resignation of Home Minister Amit Shah. Gogoi h said that inspite of his suspension, he wished debate on Delhi riots continues.
