Row Over Entry to JP Centre: Akhilesh Yadav Asks Nitish Kumar to Withdraw Support From BJP-Led NDA

Lucknow: Amid a political tussle between Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP ) and Samajwi Party (SP) over garlanding statue of Jayaprakash Narayan at Jai Prakash Narayan International Centre (JPNIC) in Lucknow's Gomti Nagar on his 122nd birth anniversary on Friday, Akhilesh Yav suggested Bihar Chief Minister and JDU president Nitish Kumar to withdraw his party's support from BJP -led NDA government at Centre.

dressing a garing, SP supremo said Nitish should make suggested move since JDU leer himself emerged from his (Jai Prakash Narayan) movement.

"Many of Socialist people are in govt and helping govt to continue. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar emerged from his (Jai Prakash Narayan) movement, this is a chance for Nitish Kumar to withdraw support from govt which is not allowing Socialist to pay tribute to Jai Prakash Narayan on his birth anniversary...," said Akhilesh Yav.

SP leer furr noted that re are lot of "socialist people" who are part of government and involved in running system. He suggested that y should also also withdraw support from govt.

row erupted late last night after Yav, who was denied permission to visit JPNIC due to "construction work and possibility of many insects due to rain",  tore into BJP over barring entrance. Last year as well, Yav was not given permission to visit site. former UP Chief Minister jumped over a wall to garland statue late last night.
