In a massive development on Thursday, Sachin Pilot has moved Rajasthan High Court to challenge issuance of disqualification tice by assembly Speaker, as well as validity of whip issued by Congress legislative party (CLP). As per sources, Todabhim MLA Prithviraj Chauhan has filed petition on behalf of Sachin Pilot camp. In plea, Pilot camp has challenged Speaker’s tice on grounds that it is arbitrary.
Moreover, plea states that assembly was t in session when tice of disqualification was issued and refore, it cant be enforced. Thus, plea demands for setting aside of disqualification tices and claims that re is basis to allege 'anti-party activity.' Pilot camp has also stated that t eugh time was given to respond to tice, as per sources. decision to move High Court was taken after Sachin Pilot held a meeting with his faction of MLAs at ir Haryana hotels through video conferencing. assembly Speaker h on Wednesday, July 15, issued a disqualification tice to Sachin Pilot and or MLAs.

Moreover, sources have informed that former Attorney General Mukul Rohtagi and vocate Harish Salve may represent Sachin Pilot before Rajasthan HC and CLP will be represented by Abhishek Manu Singhvi. plea will be heard by a single-judge bench heed by Judge Satish Chandra Sharma at 3 PM. Congress sacks Sachin Pilot
As Sachin Pilot skipped second legislative party meeting on July 14, Ashok Gehlot's camp passed a resolution against Pilot and loyalists. dressing press, Gehlot said that Pilot is playing in hands of BJP and accused saffron party of horse-tring. reafter, Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala in a press briefing anunced that party has sacked Sachin Pilot from post of Deputy CM and PCC chief and accused him of conspiring with BJP.

At this point it is believed that Pilot doesn't have sufficient numbers to bring down Gehlot's government, and also needs time to negotiate his furr course of action with BJP, whom he has said he's t joining.
