MEA quashes foreign meddling
meddling of global personalities in India's internal matters forced Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to issue a statement and quash propaganda. In a strongly-worded statement, MEA me it clear that farm reforms were enacted by Parliament after a full debate and discussion. Maintaining that only a very small section of farmers have reservations about se laws, it mentioned that Centre has t only conducted 11 rounds of talks with farm unions but also offered to keep implementation of laws on hold. MEA lamented that "vested groups" were trying to derail protests despite this scenario. To buttress its point, it highlighted violence that took place in national capital during farmers' tractor rally.
