Lashing out at Mhya Presh government over Guna police brutality, former CM and senior Congress leer Kamal Nath alleged that incident h 'exposed' real face of BJP-led government in state. Calling incident 'shameful' Kamal Nath stated that today Mhya Presh was being identified as a state perpetrating atrocities on Dalits. Earlier, a shocking video emerged from Mhya Presh's Guna district where a Dalit farmer couple attempted suicide in front of police officials who allegedly attempted to destroy ir crops
"It is very s that state is w recognised for atrocities on Dalits. This government is government of tre. It only anunced that land will t be taken from poor. But, same is t followed. This is real face of government," said Kamal Nath to news ncy ANI.

" incident is very upsetting. Transferring officers is of use, se tactics are only part of a show but building a good environment is what matters. Officers removed today will be posted someplace good tomorrow," Nath ded.

Farmer couple attempts suicide
In a shocking incident, a Dalit farmer couple attempted suicide on Tuesday by consuming pesticide in front of police officers in Mhya Presh's Guna district, as per reports. Reports stated that police h allegedly tried to destroy couple's crops from government-owned land, which was illegally occupied by couple. Visuals shared across social media appear to show couple's children present at scene.

police, however, have claimed that video circulating showing officers beating a couple in Guna is edited. y have stated that couple shown in video were locals who were stopping police from transporting farmer duo who h attempted suicide to a hospital.
Shortly after horrifying video of couple went viral, CM Shivraj Chouhan ordered transfer of Guna's district collector and Police superintendent immediately. Following up on this, Mhya Presh CM also ordered a high-level investigation into matter to ensure that such kind of police brutality is t encourd.
