Even as political crisis in Maharashtra continues, sources informed Republic TV that Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday night has met Congress' interim president's aides - Ahmed Patel and Malikarjun Kharge, who are present in Mumbai. As Sena defended its alliance with ideologically opposite, its chief held a meeting with top Congress leers on government formation. On or side, NCP and Congress is holding yet ar core committee meeting on Wednesday morning. However, NCP chief Shar Pawar did t speak to media as he reached YB Chavan Centre in Mumbai for meeting. NCP leer Ajit Pawar, informing about meeting said that decision will be taken soon and re are a lot of things to discuss.
President Rule in Maharashtra
President Ram Nath Kovind, on Tuesday, has accepted Maharashtra Goverr's recommendation and implemented President's rule in state. Ministry of Home Affairs has confirmed that w Maharashtra assembly is under suspended animation after President officially signed order. If party stakes claim within six months, fresh elections will be held in state. Earlier, Goverr h confirmed that he h recommended same and submitted a report to President, via MHA, according to provisions of Art. 356 of Constitution. goverr is of opinion that party - be it BJP, Shiv Sena, Congress or NCP can give a stable government in state. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led cabinet meeting has approved a president's rule in state.

Congress leer KC Venugopal on Monday evening said that Congress is still discussing formation of a government with NCP and has to extended Outer support to Shiv Sena. NCP, on or hand, placed onus of decision-making on Congress, saying y will take decision only after Congress decides. After BJP on Sunday anunced that it wouldn't form government, Goverr h invited second largest party - Shiv Sena to form government. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena MP Arvind Sawant also resigned from Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cabinet.

stalemate in state is a result of fallout of Mahayuti alliance partners- BJP and Shiv Sena over post of Chief Minister in state. In assembly polls, Mahayuti alliance partners won a total of 161 seats - BJP won 105 seats and Shiv Sena won 56 seats. Mahaghi me a comeback bagging 98 seats - (NCP 54 seats and Congress 44 seats.)
