Sharad Pawar breaks his silence on Raut-Fadnavis meet, sees no threat to MVA government
Breaking his silence on the meeting between Sanjay Raut and BJP's Devendra Fadnavis, NCP chief Sharad Pawar said that there is no threat to the MVA government.

Breaking his silence on meeting between Sena MP Sanjay Raut and BJP's Devendra Fnavis, NCP supremo Shar Pawar on Tuesday stressed that re was threat to Maharashtra government. He recalled that Raut h taken his interview for Sena mouthpiece Saamana. ting that re was thing unusual in an editor taking interview of Leer of Opposition Devendra Fnavis, Pawar vised against drawing any political context to meeting.
Both Raut and Fnavis have insisted that ir interaction which lasted for at least 2 hours on September 26 was focused only on modalities for Saamana interview. In fact, Sena MP clarified that party chief Uddhav Thackeray was aware of meeting. According to BJP spokesperson Keshav Uphye, Fnavis demanded that interview should t be edited. interview is scheduled to take place after culmination of Bihar polls.

NCP chief Shar Pawar remarked, "Raut first took my interview. After completing my interview, he himself said that he would take interview of Uddhav Thackeray and BJP leer. Just because an editor takes an interview of a political leer for a newspaper, it doesn’t imply that former aligns with that political party. re is need to comment furr on this. He will take interview. But it will t impact politics of state."

Maharashtra BJP chief's prediction
Earlier in day, Maharashtra BJP president Chandrakant Patil predicted mid-term polls in state. Reiterating that political discussion took place in meeting between Raut and Fnavis, he ded that purpose was to go over questions to be asked in interview. Clarifying that re is proposal to form a government with eir of MVA parties, Patil claimed that Sena, NCP and Congress would eventually break alliance.
To buttress his point, Kothrud MLA highlighted divergent stand by ruling coalition partners on issues such as farm bills. While Congress h staunchly opposed Farmers' Produce Tre and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill, 2020, Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance and Farm Services Bill, 2020 and Essential Commodities (Amendment) Bill, 2020, Shiv Sena took a different position on se bills in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. MVA government was formed in vember 2019 under leership of Uddhav Thackeray after Sena and BJP h a bitter fallout over demand for rotational CM post.
