Supriyo says that Banerjee should be igred
Speaking to Republic TV on Wednesday morning, he said, " USP of her politics is making bizarre statements and right w she seems very desperate to create headlines with crude and ridiculous statements. She is one who had gone ahead and has termed regular and routine exercise by Army. We should really igre her and t take her seriously. However, this is an insult to men who guard our borders and keep us safe. We have a long border that we share with Bangladesh which is kwn for infiltration. She has some vested interest in whatever she says and also kwn for se kinds of bizarre statements which is very unbecoming. In larger sense, she should t be given limelight she wants."

While addressing an administrative meeting of rth Dinajpur district at Kaliagan, she stated that Jawans should t interfere in local issues. "Police should stay alert as rth Dinajpur shares border with or states as well as Bangladesh. We have spoken to Home Minister about activities of BSF and personnel posted on border should t enter vills in name of community development programmes and interfere in local issues. Law and order is a state subject. Police officers posted in areas should look into matter and do needful," she said.
