Reacting to Chief Minister Palaniswami's decision, Tamil Nu BJP leer condemned state government for allowing schools to reopen but t permitting 'Vetri Val Yatra' saying re is a fear of second wave of COVID-19. H Raja furr declared that he along with ors will go ahe with yatra in Chennai or else it will be agitation. This statement came after Tamil Nu CM on Thursday denied permission to BJP's Vetri Val Yatra.

Tamil Nu CM denies permission for 'Vetri Val Yatra' in Chennai
Palaniswami said, "Legally it cant be permitted. Central and state governments have come out with rules that rallies cant be taken out."
Citing COVID-19 pandemic, CM Palaniswami on vember 5 denied BJP to proceed with 'Vetri Val Yatra' which covers six abodes of Lord Muruga. ruling AIMK asked BJP ally to drop its plans to take out rally in interest of people of state. Responding to this anuncement by Chief Minister, BJP said that party's high command would be consulted before anuncing next plan of action.

Palaniswami said, "Our objective is to create a coronavirus-free Tamil Nu. vaccine is ultimate remedy for this. But this may take three months or go beyond a year. government is duty-bound to protect people from infection. We feel that this yatra is t needed at this juncture."
ting that health experts across world have warned of second and third wave of Coronavirus, Palaniswami said that even if government anticipate and take precautionary measures in Tamil Nu, massive yatra like this will give room to spre of infection among community. 'It would be better for BJP if it did t emphasise on this yatra and give it up, for w,' CM ded.
