Supreme Court of India on vember 9 prounced historic judgement of Ayodhya land dispute case. As SC handed over Ayodhya land to Hindus and said that suitable 5-acre land will be given to Muslims, its decision was appreciated by politicians across party lines. Hailing SC's decision, RJD leers and Lalu Pras Yav's son, Tejashwi and Tej Pratap said that it is an example of unity and harmony.
Tejashwi and Tej Pratap hails SC's verdict
Taking to Twitter, RJD leers Tej Pratap Yav and Tejashwi Yav hailed Supreme Court's decision. While former Deputy CM of Bihar, Tejashwi said this decision would send a mess of unity and harmony, his bror Tej Pratap posted a picture of himself having lunch with three Muslim men. In a tweet, he wrote a secular mess. Tejashwi also said that Opposition parties should w focus on building good schools, colleges, universities and hospitals and providing employment to youth.

Ayodhya Verdict
SC decided to hand over disputed land in Ayodhya to Hindus and to give 5 acres of alternate land to Muslims for building mosque. apex court also observed that Nirmohi Akhara's suit was t maintainable as y do t have shebait rights. CJI Ranjan Gogoi, while delivering unanimous judgement, also dismissed claims of Sunni Central Waqf board stating that party altered its stance after being confronted with Archeological Survey of India (ASI)'s findings.

Ayodhya case in SC
five-judge bench was constituted on January 25, 2019, to hear long-contested Ayodhya dispute. As case progressed after Centre handed over disputed Ayodhya site to original owners, bench created a mediation panel. On August 2, a day after mediation panel submitted report of mediation to SC in a sealed cover, SC stated that mediation h failed and began day-to-day hearings - which ran for 40 days, along with a parallel mediation process continuing. SC anunced that it would wrap up hearing on October 17 and anunce its judgment by vember 17. Finally, on October 16, Supreme Court concluded its hearing, reserved its order and mediation panel submitting its settlement report.
