 Telangana state BJP unit on Thursday blamed TRS-led state government for triggering community transmission of COVID in state alleging that community transmission could occur due to ir 'deviation' from pandemic protocols. BJP alleged that because of state government's 'brazen and danegorus acts' such as premature discharge of patients, lives of millions could be at a risk.

 "BJP strongly believes Chief Minister KC Rao in his inexplicable urge and pointless desire to paint a rosy picture in Telangana State, is doing unthinkable. His ministration is totally mismanaging COVID-19 situation in state, which can le to dangerous outcomes to public health in state and risk millions of lives," it said.

"Junior Doctors of Gandhi Hospital have openly stated that over 500 'COVID-19 positive' patients have been discharged prematurely without COVID-19 tests into general population two days back. Changed ICMR guidelines have thing do with this brazen and dangerous act by state health ministration, which can trigger a massive community transmission in  GHMC area and in entire state," BJP said in a release.

BJP poses 5 pointed questions to TRS

BJP also posed 5 questions to Telangana CM KC Rao and Health Minister Etela Rajender in its release alleging that despite High Court's orders to increase testing,  state government was unmoved.

Eight people died of COVID-19 and 191 tested positive in Telangana on Wednesday, taking toll to 156 and infection count past 4,000 mark in state as per latest figures. Meanwhile, Telangana Junior Doctors Association (TJUDA) has decided to continue strike at state's dal hospital in Hyderab despite having met state Health Minister Eatala Rajender on Wednesday.
