'This is what Pakistan wanted': Captain Amarinder Singh condemns Singhu Border violence
Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has condemned the violence that occurred on Singhu border when the farmers and the locals clashed with each other

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has condemned violence that occurred on Singhu border on Friday when farmers and locals clashed with each or. He alleged that violence was perpetrated by some miscreants and urged Centre to conduct a thorough probe to identify miscreants and ascertain where y came from.
"I can’t believe that local people could have turned against farmers like this. Miscreants might have been brought from or places by vested interests to foment trouble," he said, adding that locals calling farmers traitors was t something he could believe to be true.

“What is happening and what happened at Singhu today is what Pakistan wants,” said Captain Amarinder adding that he had discussed same with Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
"That was what he had discussed with Union Home Minister also during his meeting, over which a lot of ise was raised," he said.

Clash on Singhu Border
Earlier in day, situation at Singhu border escalated with clashes between farmers and a group of villrs or local citizens who wanted farmers to leave protest site so border roads could be opened for people's movement. two sides pelted stones and attacked each or with sticks, leading to a furr escalation in violence.

Delhi Police had to intervene which was met with stone-pelting. reafter, to control escalating situation, police was forced to lathi-charge aggressive mob and fired tear gas shells. Several cops including SHO of Alipur suffered injuries in clash at Singhu Border.
Republic Day this year was marred with violence that ensured after tractor rally of farmers which turned violent with incidents of vandalism, rioting and assault on Policemen. violent mob also breached Red Fort, damd several areas of Fort and also planted a saffron flag and a yellow flag bearing holy Sikh symbol atop dome of Fort, while ar violent protestor planted flag on a podium in Red Fort.
