As intense battle between Centre and opposition over pass of farm reform Bills continues, former Congress spokesperson Sanjay Jha has ridiculed opposition (which includes Congress) over ir arguments, by elaborating on farm bills and opined that ir politics over bills "makes sense".

While Congress and opposition alleged that bills do t assure Minimum Support Price (MSP) for produce of farmers and will hurt interest of farmers. However, Centre has clarified by stating that MSP mechanism will continue and it will also t encroach upon Agriculture Produce Marketing Committee (APMC) Acts of states.

Chaos in Rajya Sabha over bills
Rajya Sabha witnessed chaotic scenes on September 20, Sunday as members from opposition parties reached to Deputy Chairman's seat to protest against Farmer's Produce Tre and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill, Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance and Farm services Bill 2020. Sunday's unruly behaviour of MPs h m suspended by Rajya Sabha Chairman Venkaiah Naidu on Monday for a week which later converted for entire remaining monsoon session as a mark of stricter punishment.

MPs h hurled papers and rule book on Deputy Chairman Harivansh, AAP MP Sanjay Singh was seen manhandling marshalls who attempted to stop him from entering well, while TMC MP Derek O'Brien attempted to rip apart rule book on Deputy chairman's face. opposition MPs stormed into well of house and creed chaos to oppose pass of Bills, and mics of Deputy Chair were also ripped off by MPs.
15 opposition parties have written a joint letter to President Ram Nath Kovind urging him to t give assent to farm bills passed by Parliament.

What are farm bills?
farm bills were passed in both houses of parliament seek to replace ordinances promulgated on June 5. Farmers' Produce Tre and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill, 2020 aims at freeing farmers from constraints of state Agriculture Produce Market Committees whereby y would be able to sell ir produce anywhere.
