TMC's Derek O'Brien campaigns for Raghav Chadha; endorses AAP for Delhi election

TMC leader Derek O'Brien has tweeted a video, seemingly campaigning for AAP and appealing to the people of Delhi to vote for AAP candidates in the election.

Ahe of Delhi Assembly election, Trinamool Congress (TMC) has endorsed ruling Aam mi Party (AAP) for ar term in national capital. TMC leer and Chief national spokesperson Derek O'Brien has tweeted a video, seeminngly campaigning for AAP and appealing to people of Rajendra Nagar in Delhi to vote for AAP candidate Raghav Chha and all candidates fielded by AAP in Delhi.

Delhi elections are just around corner, ruling AAP and aspiring BJP have stepped up ir attacks on each or. AAP in its campaign has boasted of improvement in schools across national capital, however, earlier this week, Home Minister Amit Shah posted a video exposing poor conditions of government schools in Delhi. AAP in its retaliation has sought election commission to impose a 48-hour campaigning ban on Amit Shah for allegedly tweeting a 'fake video'.

Escalating his attack on AAP, Home Minister has also brought issue of Shaheen Bagh protest which AAP supremo h been silent on despite several provocations from BJP to speak up on issue. Deputy CM Manish Sisodia has however said that he supports protest. Shaheen Bagh protest has blocked a prominent ro in Delhi holding national capital to ransom while causing inconvenience to citizens in transit and emergency services such as ambulances and firefighters.

Legislative Assembly elections will be held in Delhi on 8 February 2020 to elect 70 members of Delhi Legislative Assembly. results will be declared on 11th February 2020. term of current assembly elected in 2015 will expire on 22 February 2020.
