Unnatural government can't last long: Fadnavis sends regards before MVA's 1-yr anniversary

Maharashtra former CM Devendra Fnavis on Wednesday said that he is t waiting for Maha Vikas Aghi's "unnatural" alliance to fall but "historically, such governments never lasted four-five years". MVA government of Shiv Sena, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Congress in Maharashtra, which will complete its one year on vember 28, came to power after fall of an 80-hour government of BJP after 2019 polls.
'y should run govt as long as y want'
"t waiting for government to fall, rey to work as an effective Opposition. But this unnatural government can t last long. Historically, such governments never lasted four-five years. y should run government as long as y want. day it falls, we will give an alternative government," Fnavis told reporters in Pune when questioned about BJP leers' claim to come to power in state soon.

Earlier on vember 24, Fnavis h asserted that next BJP government would take oath in state at an appropriate hour inste of dawn, unlike last year when he took oath as chief minister at crack of dawn. same day, Union Minister Raosaheb Danve exuded confidence that BJP will again come to power in Maharashtra in next two to three months.
'Shiv Sena is t Maharashtra'
Fnavis also said Shiv Sena is t Maharashtra and asserted that it was his party which worked towards protecting identity of state when it was in power for five years. He also accused Sena of labelling those who levelled charges of corruption against it as being "Maharashtra-drohi" (anti-Maharashtra).

"body becomes Maharashtra-drohi just because someone calls that person so. When allegations of corruption are levelled against m, y call that person a Maharashtra- drohi," Fnavis said. " Shiv Sena should understand one thing that y are t Maharashtra," he ded.
BJP h won maximum 105 seats in Maharashtra Assembly polls held last year, followed by Shiv Sena which bagged 56 seats. NCP h won 54 seats and Congress 44. Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray took oath as Chief Minister of MVA government on vember 28. Ajit Pawar is Thackeray's Deputy in present MVA government.
