"Notices have been served to 220 owners of tractors in Sikandarpur police station area. In notice, it has been mentioned that tractors were used on public ros for commercial work, and minors were driving m. As a result of this, re were ro accidents. tractors were also used in illegal mining,” said Bal Mukund Mishra, SHO, Sikandarpur police station.

However, Regional Transport Officer Rajeshwar Yav said he was not aware of fact that police can issue such a notice to tractor owners.
Meanwhile, Leer of Opposition in Uttar Presh Legislative Assembly, Ram Govind Chaudhary said police are trying to threaten farmers. " farmers have tractors, and y are going to protest site by tractors. Police have issued notices to hinder farmers' movement,” he alleged.
