Actor-turned-politician Urmila Matondkar hit out at the Centre over the security clamp-down in Jammu and Kashmir after the abrogation of Article 370.

Actor-turned-politician Urmila Matondkar on Thursday hit out at Centre over security clamp-down in Jammu and Kashmir after abrogation of Article 370. She said that her husband has t been able to speak to his parents, who live in Kashmir, for last 22 days.

" question is t only about abrogating Article 370. It was done in an inhuman manner," Matondkar, who contested Lok Sabha election unsuccessfully on Congress ticket, told reporters.

"My far-in-law and mor-in-law stay re. Both are diabetic and have high blood pressure. Today is 22nd day, neir me r my husband have been able to speak to m. We have clue if y have medicines available at home," she said.

Earlier on Tuesday, Pakistan wrote a letter to United Nations and quoted Rahul Gandhi's words alleging people dying in Kashmir. letter was written by Pakistan’s minister of human rights Shireen Mazari. letter was yet ar gimmick to internationalize Kashmir issue through channelling and peddling news about valley. Following this, Rahul Gandhi hit back at Pakistan and tweeted that he criticizes and does t agree with government on many issues. However, Gandhi asserted that Kashmir is India's internal issue and that Pakistan has room for interfering in matter. In dition, Congress leer furr slammed that tensions and violence in Kashmir was instigated by Pakistan. He also said that Pakistan is globally kwn to support terrorism across world.
