Union minister Debasree Chaudhuri on Sunday said Bengal government has deprived 86 per cent of state's farmers of ir legitimate dues, and is w making "efforts to misle m about merits of new farm bills to hide its own failures".
Union MoS for women and child development, during a press meet here, dared Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee "to enlist all what she did for farmers in past 10 years".

"Take case of Singur in Hooghly. Banerjee h shown so much concern for farmers when car project was anunced. w, those farmers are crying, seeking help from our MPs. y can't till ir lands. Will CM bring to light condition of farm land in Singur?" she said.
Describing Banerjee's recent protest rally against farm bills as a "drama", Chaudhuri said CM was busy "misleing" farmers, ahe of 2021 Assembly elections.

"Most rice mills in state do t pay MSP to farmers. Around 86 per cent of farmers did t get ir dues. new laws would ensure unscrupulous elements don't get to fill ir pockets, and marginal farmers get what y rightfully deserve," minister stated.
MP from Raiganj furr claimed that opposition parties in Rajya Sabha h behaved "in an unconstitutional manner during pass of bills".

"Allegations were me that pass of bills would le to abolition of mandi system, where farmers sell ir produce. That is thing but a bunch of lies. Inste, legislation will bolster supply chain and farmers will be able to sell seasonal vegetables at right price.
" Union government will t shirk its responsibility in entire process, and farmers will longer have to be at mercy of middlemen," she ded.

Last month, President Ram Nath Kovind h given his assent to three contentious farm bills, which were passed in monsoon session of Parliament, amid protests by opposition parties.
