"What if situation worsens and we have another December 6?", Azam Khan on Ayodhya issue

Speaking about the Ayodhya issue, Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan has given out a statement concerning a recurrence of December 06, pertaining to the current political air.

Speaking about the Ayodhya issue, Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan has given out a statement concerning a recurrence of December 6, pertaining to the current political air. 

Khan was of the belief that the security forces can't do much, but orders can, calling this situation a political gimmick for votes.

He said, "Army and police can't do anything, but orders can. It's time for elections, and all this is happening for votes. "For us, December 6 is history. What if the situation worsens and we have another December 06? I have written a letter,"

December 6 in Indian history is remembered as the day Babri Masjid was demolished in Ayodhya back in 1992, leading to communal riots.

On the other hand, Shiv Sena is hell-bent on constructing a temple in Ayodhya, for which on November 22 Shiv Sena Chief addressing the media said, "This soil is not just mud but the sentiments of the entire Hindu community and when the sentiments of Hindus unite, definitely the process of constructing the Ram mandir will find speed. And it will be built as soon as possible. Some seers over there are going to give me their blessings, and to seek those blessings I am going over there."

Shiv Sena party members on Friday, took the air-way to reach Ayodhya in numbers to take their Ram Temple aspirations forward while chanting the slogan- “Pehele Mandir, fir Sarkar” (First the temple, and then government)

Whereas on November 24, during the meeting with the mahants, Uddhav Thackeray is set to challenge the centre for the construction of the Ram Temple. As per reports, 1100 Mahants and 500 Acharyas to scheduled to be present at the meeting. Apart from the Shiv Sena chief, there will be Anil Desai and his close aid Milind Narvekar at the meeting.

Addressing the gathered crowd, Thackeray said, "Modi Government should bring an Ordinance. Announce a date for Ram Mandir. I don't need the credit for Ram Mandir."

The Shiv Sena Chief even performed Maha Arti on Saturday evening.
