The poll of polls in both Maharashtra and Jharkhand have predicted a victory for the BJP-led alliance against Congress-led in the recently concluded elections.

Mumbai: poll of polls has predicted a victory for Mahayuti alliance in Maharashtra against Maha Vikas Aghi (MVA), in Assembly elections which concluded on Wednesday. In Jharkhand , Matrize exit poll has predicted a victory for NDA while anor P-MARQ has given an edge to INDIA bloc.

Poll of Polls in Maharashtra 

  • According to Matrize exit poll, Mahayuti may win 150-170 seats, MVA may get 110-130 seats, while ors might get 8-10 seats. 
  • According to P-MARQ exit poll, Mahayuti may get 137-157 seats, MVA might get 126-146 seats, and 2-8 seats for ors.
  • So, poll of polls predict 154 seats for Mahayuti, 128 for Maha Vikas Aghi (MVA) and 6 for ors.

  • According to Matrize exit poll, NDA may win 42-47 seats, INDIA bloc may get 25-30 seats, while ors may win 1-4 seats. 
  • According to P-MARQ, INDIA bloc may win 37-47 seats, NDA may get 31-40 seats while 1-6 may go to independents.
  • So, poll of polls predict  41 seats for NDA, 35 for INDIA bloc and 5 seats to or, independents.

  1. According to exit polls, both Matrize and P-MARQ, Mahayuti is predicted to win assembly elections in Maharashtra.   
  2. Matrize has predicted a clear victory for Mahayuti while P-MARQ has also given an edge to BJP -led alliance. 
  3. Whoever wins Maharashtra, would have won mood and narrative. 
  4. However, if mandate is fractured on result day, Ajit Pawar -led NCP — a breakaway faction of Shar Pawar -led NCP, may be first one to ditch Mahayuti. 
  5. If this happens, n it can le to a re-accumulation of post-poll alliances.
  6. In Jharkhand, most exit polls have predicted a win for BJP-NDA, baring one, which is Axis My India, as it has predicted a victory for INDIA Bloc.  
  7. Now, Jharkhand is important, very important, but not more than Maharashtra at national level.  
  8. Jharkhand is completely unclear, nobody except Axis My India, is fully sticking ir neck out. 
  9. Besides Assembly elections, this round of elections saw bypolls on 9 seats in Uttar Presh among ors. 
  10. As per narrative setting, people will also be looking at Uttar Presh, where exit polls have predicted 7 out of 9 seats in favour of BJP. In this round of UP bypolls, it’s going to be a test for CM Yogi’s ‘Batenge Toh Katenge’ narrative.

Maharashtra Assembly elections on all 288 seats were conducted today, November 20 in one single phase while Jharkhand voted in two phases on November 13 and 20. Jharkhand has a total of 81 seats. 

In Maharashtra, Mahayuti comprising of BJP, Eknath Shinde -led Shiv Sena, Ajit Pawar's NCP fought a closely contested elections against Maha Vikas Aghi consisting of Congress , Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena and Shar Pawar's NCP. counting of votes in both states is set for November 23, Saturday.
