On eve of Saint Ravidas's birth anniversary, President Ram Nath Kovind took to his official Twitter handle and conveyed his good wishes to citizens of India. President furr wrote about Guru Ravidas being a 'prophet of peace,' and also called him a 'Champion of human values.' President furr appealed to all citizens to follow path shown by great saint and mystic poet.

Prime Minister Modi also took to his official Twitter handle on Guru Ravidas's birth anniversary and wrote about great contributions me by Indian saint for betterment of society.
Prime Minister's tweet translates as, " Humble tribute to great saint Guru Ravidas Ji on his birth anniversary. For a positive change in society, he h emphasized spirit of harmony and brorhood, which is equally relevant today. About Saint Ravidas Ji
Born in Varanasi, Saint Ravidas Ji was an Indian mystic poet who was actively involved with Bhakti movement during 15th and 16th century CE. devotional songs written by saint are said to have left a lasting impact upon Bhakti movement.

Ravidas's devotional songs were also included in Sikh scripture of Guru Granth Sahib. i Granth of Sikhs and Panchvani of Hindu warrior-ascetic group Dupanthis are two oldest attested sources of literary works of Ravidas.
