President Ram Nath Kovind meets Lata Mangeshkar at her Mumbai residence, calls her 'the pride of India'

President Ram Nath Kovind met veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar at her residence in Mumbai during his current visit to city. official Twitter handle of President has put up a picture from meeting and hailed legendary musician as ' pride of India'. In post, country chief expressed his delight to meet legendary musician and conveyed his best wishes. He also praised her for sweetening lives with her soulful melody and said that she 'continues to inspire us with her simplicity and grace'.
