Great Britain's Prince Charles ringed in his 71st birthday with school children at Mumbai's iconic Taj Mahal hotel on Thursday. Prince of Wales is on a three-day visit to India. Britain's Prince Charles had a simple and brief birthday celebration with more than 20 school children, who wished Prince by singing him a birthday song.

During his visit, he also attended a round table conference with Indian businessmen and discussed sustainable market initiatives. British High Commissioner to India Dominic Asquith welcomed Prince to conference.  current visit marks 10th official visit of Prince to India.

Prince Charles meets President Ram Nath Kovind

Earlier, Prince Charles had called on Indian President Ram Nath Kovind. He participated in a bilateral meeting with President Kovind at  Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Wednesday.

According to reports, Prince Charles' visit to India will focus on  India-UK ties and challenges such as sustainability and climate change. He will also present a Commonwealth 'Points of Light' award to Srishti Bakshi for her exemplary contribution to field of social development that involves upliftment of disabled children, family counseling and rapy sessions. Along with it, he will also attend a discussion with influential Indian business leaders to seek ir advice and input on sustainable markets. heir to British throne also visited Gurudwara Bangla Sahib and   India Meteorological Department (IMD) at Mausam Bhawan. According to reports, Charles interacted with IMD officials during his stay. He was seen leaving wear department in a battery-operated rickshaw
