Pro-Pak slogans raised in Telangana's Adilabad cinema during 'The Kashmir Files' screening

Prima Facie, it was reported that the offenders were allegedly thrashed by the public after they chanted ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans while watching the movie.

In a worrisome incident, some miscreants in Telangana’s ilab district reportedly tried to spoil atmosphere in a movie atre where sensitive movie ‘ Kashmir Files’ was being screened. 

Reportedly, incident took place on Friday, March 18, where two miscreants reportedly raised anti-India and pro-Pakistan slogans in Natraj atre. Prima Facie, it was reported that two offenders were allegedly thrashed by public after y chanted ‘Pakistan Zindab’ slogans while watching movie.

pro-Pakistan slogans infuriated fellow movie-watchers since y were watching film that h depicted how Pandits were forced to flee Kashmir Valley after Pakistan-sponsored terrorists reigned terror on community.

Following incident, cinema staff called Police to control situation, however, culprits managed to flee spot. Police is trying to establish identity of accused persons. y have also gared evidence from CCTV footage, however, nothing concrete has been found yet.

“We are verifying matter. No formal complaint has been filled yet. It looks like few are intentionally trying to spoil atmosphere and escalate tension,” local Police officials said.

Union Minister Shah on Wednesday met with film’s crew and lauded m for ir efforts. Following meeting, Union Home Minister expressed his delight and said that he lauded sincere efforts of team for representing ‘truth’ about Kashmiri Pandit exodus.

He said that film was important to make country aware of such ‘historical mistakes.’ “ Kashmir Files is a bold representation of truth,” Union Minister Shah tweeted in Hindi.
