re was heavy police deployment at spot to maintain law and order situation in school. Police have detained Lakha Sidhana and taken him to police station to maintain peace in area. DSP Mohit Aggarwal said, “After assessing situation police were deployed in sufficient numbers. Our priority is to make school students secure and to maintain law and order situation. Whatever matter is, basically between parents and school ministration, y will handle situation. We have informed our senior officers and furr, issue was brought to tice of education department too.”

Some of parents of students also participated in protest blaming school authorities for imposing fines on students for speaking Punjabi in school. A mor of a school student said, “My son is studying in school and teachers are asking him to wear a Ka. teachers are neir teaching Punjabi langu to students, that’s reason we are raising voice.”
Ar parent, Manpreet Kaur said, “My daughter is studying in school and w school ministration is asking for night classes. My concern is why school is asking for night classes? Are y t able to complete ir studies in daytime? Who would be responsible for ir security during night hours”.
