Pune issues new SOPs for travellers from Kerala; Covid-19 test is must on arrival
The Municipal Corporation of Pune in Maharashtra on Thursday issued an order making it mandatory for passengers arriving from Kerala to undergo an RT-PCR test.

Municipal Corporation of Pune in Maharashtra on Thursday issued a new Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs), according to which passengers travelling from Kerala to Pune will have to carry RT-PCR negative reports or will have to undergo Covid-19 RT-PCR test on arrival as a precautionary measure. As number of Covid-19 cases in se two states is highest in country, governments are trying to make all possible efforts to rmalise situation. Earlier, Maharashtra government me similar SOPs for people coming from different parts of country including Delhi, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Goa. People from se states are mandated to carry ir RT-PCR negative test reports.
Karnataka makes RT-PCR test mandatory for Kerala arrivals
Also, government of Karnataka on Wednesday me a Covid-negative certificate compulsory for Kerala returnees. According to new SOPs issued by Karnataka government, people travelling from Kerala should give Covid negative RT-PCR reports on ir arrival at Pune airport and it should t be older than three days. Jawaid Akhtar, ditional chief secretary of health and family welfare department, on Tuesday, issued a circular to this effect which stated, " district commissioners will take a call on implementation. Border surveillance may be done and re will be random checks in districts."

Maharashtra govt issues new SOPs
Maharashtra government issued a fresh set of guidelines, authorising government bodies to follow guidelines based on assessment of situation in order to contain spre of coronavirus. new guidelines with regard to travelling, garings, Covid-19 testing and or social distancing rms will remain same as issued by state government on vember 23.
