Pune Woman With 2 Kids Punched in Face and Pulled by Hair, Left Bleeding in Road Rage

Pune: In a shocking case of road rage, a woman who was riding a scooter with her two kids, was stopped by a man who then punched her in the face, pulled her hair and left her bleeding.

The victim. Jerlyn D'Silva, is a digital influencer who shared her horrific experience in a video on her social media account.

Jerlyn D'Silva claimed that she was riding her scooter with her two children on the Pashan-Baner Link Road in Pune when she noticed that a car had been following her for almost two kilometres. 

The digital content creator said that she did not want to come in the way of the car and so she remained on the left side of the road.

However, the man suddenly overtook her and stopped his car in front of Jerlyn D'Silva's scooter. 

That's when he punched her in the face and also pulled her in front of her children.

Man Left Woman Bleeding, His Wife Silently Watched

After punching Jerlyn twice and pulling her hair, the man who has been identified as Swapnil Kekre left her bleeding. 

The victim, who made a video of her bleeding around her nose and mouth also said that the man's wife was sitting in the car as well but only as a silent spectator; she did not react.

Another woman helped Jerlyn and took her to the hospital.

FIR Registered, Man and his Wife Taken into Custody

Am FIR has been registered at the Chaturshringi Police Station in Pune and the man and his wife have been taken by the police for questioning.
