Punjab allows dine-in facility in hotels till 8 pm with 50% occupancy
The Punjab government has now allowed ‘dine-in’ facility in hotels and restaurants till 8 pm with 50% occupancy or 50 guests, whichever is less.

Punjab government has w allowed ‘dine-in’ facility in hotels and restaurants till 8 pm with 50% occupancy or 50 guests, whichever is less. In an order released on Tuesday, government said manment would comply with SOPs under which restaurants in hotels are allowed to serve food including buffet meals upto 50% of ir seating capacity or 50 guests, whichever is less.
In dition, restaurants would also be open to persons or than hotel guests but timings for both hotel guests as well as persons from outside would be till 8 pm. However bars in hotels shall remain closed but liquor could be served in rooms and restaurants, as permitted under excise policy of State.

In se guidelines state government has relaxed conditions for opening of all s of hospitality services. However, restaurants and hotels were allowed to reopen without 'dine-in' facility.

Follow health ministry's SOP
" SOPs for hotels and or hospitality services would be strictly followed. manment of hotels and or hospitality services would be obliged to comply with SOPs of union health ministry. District authorities have also been directed to ensure compliance of guidelines and or SOP depending upon local situation. district authorities could also impose ditional restrictions as deemed necessary," order furr said.
